Service accounts

Service accounts are accounts that are used by applications rather than humans. For example, OpenIAM may use the credentials of a service account to access Active Directory. This section describes how to create and manage these types of accounts.

1. Sign into the webconsole.
2. From the top menu, select User Admin > Create New User.
3. Select Select User Type > Service Account.
4. Enter First Name and Last Name. Select Save to create the service account.
