Manual tasks

A manual task is generated when a request is made to grant or revoke access to a manual managed system. These tasks are assigned to the admin of the resource associated with the manual managed system, as shown below.

After the access request is approved, the admin group receives a task to complete.

Task

Since the task is assigned to a group of admins, one of the members must claim the task before proceeding.

Task claimed

The admin who claimed the task can now complete the required action in the manual system and mark it as done in OpenIAM. (Note: At this point, the entitlement has already been assigned to the user; the manual task represents only the action the admin must take to provision or revoke access in the external system manually.)
