System configuration
OpenIAM has several groups of system configuration, all of them in can be found by going to webconsole > Administration > System configuration. There one can find several tabs to configure the system. Their description is provided below.

| Challenge response and Helpdesk | Allows choosing the group of challenge response questions to be used to secure the account and configuring MFA for HelpDesk validation. |
| Organization | Allows setting a custom organization hierarchy. |
| Password | Settings related to password management. |
| System | Responsible for general system configurations. |
| Workflow | Deals with workflow settings. |
| Authentication | Configuration options for user authentication. |
| Directory lookup | Allows searching and changing directories for address, emails, organizations, and other columns. |
| System audit log | Deals with setting a syslog and exporting its events. |
| Custom redirect | Allows configuring URLs or pages to redirect users after certain actions. |

| User entitlements | The tab provides a way to customize and control access to different types of entitlements within a system. |

| IDM | Contains IDM groovy scripts. |
| Notifications | Allows users to enable notification on login page. |
